Alexis Baker is Manager, Trade & Customs for Rockefeller Group Foreign Trade Zone Services. Based in RGFTZ Services’ new offices in Annapolis, MD, Ms. Baker manages various FTZ and bonded warehouse implementation projects for clients including applications, activations, and ongoing FTZ and bonded warehouse consulting support services. She also provides general import/export advisory services to clients.

Ms. Baker is a skilled trade compliance professional with over 10 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage and logistics, having most recently served as Domestic Transportation Manager at Samuel Shapiro and Co. While at Shapiro and also at UTC, she spent many years on the import side of the business rising to Import Manager with responsibility overseeing multiple customer import/brokerage accounts. She also previously worked for an importer in the food/grocery product industry as a Senior Purchasing Analyst-Customs & Imports.

Ms. Baker earned her bachelor’s degree from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa. and is a licensed US Customs Broker.
